The-Black-Glass-House-by-Ian-McChesney-01 Tree House or as we called it The Black Glass house in Sydenham (East London) is work of Ian McChesney architecture practice, the project was completed this year.

The practice won Planning Permission for this new five bedroom family house in the Sydenham Park Conservation area. We negotiated extensively with local Planners on the design. It was constructed from a sustainable timber frame clad in flush glazed opaque glass panels and incorporates a range of environmental features and will achieve Code 4 of The Code for Sustainable Homes. – from Ian McChesney
