The 25th edition of the Days of Oris (Dani Orisa) will take place on June 27 and 28, 2025, at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb. Marking a significant milestone in the region’s architectural calendar, the festival continues its mission of fostering exchange among leading architects, designers, urban planners, and cultural thinkers from across the globe. ArchiScene will be on the ground once again, and we’re proud to share that DSCENE returns this year as an official media partner, continuing its collaboration with the Oris House of Architecture.
Over the past two decades, Days of Oris has evolved from a regional event into a globally respected symposium, known for assembling some of the most relevant voices in contemporary architecture. The 2025 edition honors this tradition while looking ahead, offering a rich two-day program that spans groundbreaking architectural practices, future-facing urbanism, and socially engaged design.

Among this year’s headliners is Kazuyo Sejima, co-founder of SANAA and one of the most influential voices in minimalist, fluid spatial thinking. Her contributions, from the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa to the recently completed Edward and Joyce Linde Music Building at MIT, have redefined public space through clarity and restraint. Joining her are RCR Arquitectes, whose poetic, tactile approach to design earned them the Pritzker Prize in 2017, and Dorte Mandrup, whose Greenlandic and Scandinavian projects amplify architecture’s ability to respond to ecological and cultural complexity.
The lineup also includes regional powerhouses such as Ivanišin.Kabashi.Arhitekti, whose Dubrovnik-based work reveals a deep sensitivity to terrain and typology, and Bevk Perović Arhitekti, known for their thoughtful response to urban, environmental, and material conditions across Europe. Representing the next generation of cross-border practice, CADO Arhitekti from Serbia and Portugal bring research-driven design grounded in the dualities of theory and practice.
Internationally, the program highlights Norwegian architect Jette Hopp of Snøhetta, whose projects span from Oslo’s Opera House to large-scale sustainable developments in Europe and beyond. Croatian critic, theorist, and educator Maroje Mrduljaš will also present, offering insight into the intersections of Yugoslav modernism, contemporary architectural discourse, and curatorial practice.
This year’s edition is not only a celebration of architectural excellence but also a platform for reflection and provocation. The featured voices address architecture’s role in social change, ecological responsibility, and cultural preservation, issues increasingly urgent in today’s built environment.
As part of DSCENE Magazine’s ongoing media partnership with Days of Oris, our coverage will include interviews, photography, and dispatches from the event. Expect exclusive reporting from lectures, informal gatherings, and behind-the-scenes moments, delivered with the insight and perspective that define DSCENE’s approach to architecture and design culture.
For ArchiScene readers and architecture enthusiasts across Europe, this silver jubilee edition of Days of Oris offers a rare convergence of global excellence and local depth, and an opportunity to witness the future of design unfold from Zagreb.
