Harmony Chair by Rodrigo Torres for Poliform

Harmony-Chair-by-Rodrigo-Torres-for-Poliform-01

Harmony Chair is work of designer Rodrigo Torres who worked on the design for the Italian design company Poliform. The chair itself now lives in 3 different versions, metal legs one (featured here), wooden legs, and a stool version.

This chair joins chaos and order in a symbiotic relationship, full of expression and rhythm . Chaos turns the chair into a living object just by changing the point of view of the user. Order gives shape to a solid structure at the base and a soft, sophisticated and comfortable surface on the seat. Despite its complex layout, the base is made from the repetition of just one element rotated, that when welded together, creates a strong structure with a very thin metallic rod. Thanks to the 3d veneered technology present at the seat, Poliform's technicians achieved an organic surface that is very comfortable and resistant, available in more than 30 different colors and wood finishings. This product is full of memory and of both technological and expressive innovation. – from the designer Rodrigo Torres
