The Cesme House is undoubtely a dream vacation spot, the project designed and developed by Selim Erdil from ERDIL INSAAT Architecture Practice is located on the Çe?me peninsula soaking in the view of Greek Islands and Aegean Seaside. The striking design of the house which is still on the market is a fully developed project by the Izmir based architecture office.

The splendid summer home features a nine meter long cantilever allowing the owner to enjoy the Aegean sea view. To protect from the warm local climate the architect and his team worked on the facade’s sliding timber shutter system. The design not only embellishing the exterior is protecting the massive surfaces from the sunlight exposure while at the same time providing the always needed privacy (not that the house is not isolated enough). To make this project even more of an ideal summer destination is the 22 meter long lap pool in its yard.
