From the architects: DC’s newest upscale condominium property, showcases an architecturally unique and dynamic aesthetic that incorporates exemplary urban design, architecture and landscape elements, fit with a cantilevered glass building facade bathed in natural sunlight with vibrant cityscapes framed through floor-to-ceiling windows. Westlight’s designer model unit was fitted by Braunohler Design Associates and Josh Hildreth Interiors.

Braunohler Design Associates and Josh Hildreth Interiors designed a model that doesn’t read as a model; making a special effort to use original local art, designer furniture, textiles and fabrics. We imagined a buyer who was relocating from a large house in suburbs to enjoy city life. Our buyer was not looking for modern, but instead wanted a contemporary look that was soft, serene and welcoming. The palette pairs charcoal, grey and cream wood finishes with soft green, watery aqua, and taupe paint and textile selections.
Amenities included fabrics by Pierre Fray and Romo, bathroom accessories from Waterworks, furniture from Neirmann Weeks and Barry Dixon by Arteriors, artwork by David Bell, John Matthew Moore, Lisa Tureson and Joseph Johnson, rugs from Stark, as well as designer lighting fixtures and antique African and Asian accessories.
