Sette House by Fabio Fantolino

Fabio Fantolino designed this stunning apartment located in Turin, Italy, in 2016. Take a look at the complete story after the jump.

From the architects: The interior of the apartment is characterized by ample external views while the use of wood and colour enhance the ambience.

Inside the large lounge, the suspended bench beautifully accompanies the eye from the american walnut bookcase along the windows, becoming functional seating, interrupted by the columns on which electric blue appliques are suspended, giving a touch of typical colour from the 70’s.

The contrasts between structurality and the design of furnishing accessories are also enhanced by the colours and materials chosen. In particular, the neutral wool rug, the Edmond Flexform sofa in cotton, the two Mesh by Phanto armchairs in streaked green velvet and the coffee table designed by Fabio Fantolino in walnut and blue glass.

Protected by a sequence of wooden swinging lamellas, the dining area develops around the table. This, designed by the architect, has a chrome-plated steel structure and a semi-gloss black lacquered wood surface and is complimented by dark velvet Verpan chairs with a black structure and by the Bidone by Phanto ceiling light.

Blue glass, dating back to the 1970s, embedded in a wooden frame divides the kitchen island area.
In the entrance, wood panelling disguises the wall cabinets while two chromed imposing tubes catch the eye, serving as illumination for the Circle by Phanto.

To balance the scene, a grey resin floor exalts the furnishings.

The master suite continues the chromatic and simple lines of the living area: in the bedroom a blue velvet bed and light grey wood panelling embraces the corner featuring a mirror and valetstand illuminated by Parachilna Aballs T hanging lamps.

The two bathrooms have opposing styles: the master bathroom is elegant, where hexagonal white mosaic tiles contrast with American walnut furniture and the Calacatta grey marble of the washbasin; the guest’s bathroom is rather more scenographic with a Rosso Levanto marble washbasin resting on a walnut cabinet with black lacquered wood and circular chromed detailsset against black mosaic tiles.
