Bezmirno architects designed this minimalist, contemporary 80 m2 apartment in Kiev, Ukraine. The architects aimed to ” poetize comfort” by creating harmony in a simplistic interior through materials and light. Take a look at the complete story after the jump.
From the architects: FOG is about the purity of the contemporary interior, about style and eternity, about trend and comfort. A project in which we wanted to try something new, enjoying simplicity and creating harmony, working with materials and light.
Minimalism, which stands out with modern details, natural materials – gives the apartment a general atmosphere. FOG is exactly the case when we poetize comfort, using not words but solutions and practicality.
From the very entrance to the apartment, we are immersed in the basic concept. The common space for several functional zones was created by the feeling of “fresh air” and the opportunity to “breathe freely”. Several shades of gray, like fog, envelop the warm interior, accentuated by wooden elements.
Sunlight fills every room during the day, and carefully selected lighting allows you to change the atmosphere in the evenings to a warm and cozy.
Sophistication of the interior was provided by large mirrors, which emphasize the feeling of weightlessness, combine zones and create a common space.
Apartment of 80 sq.m., looks as a whole, balances between colors and shapes, absorbs its comfort and aesthetics.
