The original residential space was equipped with a constant temperature, humidity and oxygen system, and its ceiling and walls were occupied with thin pipes, which brought limitations to space transformation. In spite of this, the design team worked to seek innovations and sensitive interpretations based on rationality. The overall space features a simple outline. Upon entering the residence, the dominant light beige color comes into sight. The beige hue along with wood and earth tones reveals a gentle, pure and luxury feeling, and injects the spiritual core of French aesthetics into the space,” shares The Deduction architecture team.

The architects and interior designers from The Deduction were shaping the requests of the clients, who wanted a function yet a unique luxury residence. Within the two bedroom apartment, an additional office room is nested as well as a continuously placed living room area. The apartments foyer features a beautifully shaped art installation created to remind of a piece of undulating silk. Throughout the apartment the lighting enhances the overall experience, it is subtle yet it brings out the artworks especially created for the living space, but also the overall space.

Redundant partition walls were removed to reshape an open public area, to maximize the advantages of the environment and the architecture and create a magnificent atmosphere. The space is fluid and open, broadening the field of view. Sunlight falls down onto the pale interior surfaces, generating free, cosy and healing vitality. The dining area, the living room and the balcony are integrated into a whole. The large French window frames and brings in beautiful outdoor landscape, and the hazy gauze curtain produces a fluid aesthetic along with light and shadows. The laundry area is hidden behind a micro-cement cabinet door, turning practical functions into the art of life,” adds The Deduction team talking about the Nanjing Apartment design.

The TV backdrop wall features the most coveted Bang & Olufsen TV set, one only fitting for such an impressive space, but also does not interrupt the flow of the overall space. Thus deriving the focus from the high-tech television when the one is not in use. Helping is the stone wall with subtle yet unique patterns. In addition to Bang & Olufsen the team furnishes the brands with furniture pieces and appliances from the likes of EDRA, TON, Ligne Roset, Zieta, LAMINAM, RARA, Poliform, GUBI, Miele, SMEG, HC28, La Creation, Flügger, FNJI, etc.

Home is a physical container, and also a carrier of spirit. It accommodates both past and present, and extends infinitely in the dimensions of space and time. In line with the free circulation route in the space, art installations that carry the occupants’ emotions are subtly arranged. Those items evoke emotional resonance, hence generating a poetic aesthetic,” additionally notes The Deduction team talking about the space.

The interior of the Nanjing apartment brings out a rich choice of linen, velvet and timber, thus giving the space natural simply said organic texture sentiment. These choices create interaction within a calming and fluid space while staying away from an eccentric definition of a luxury apartment.
