Rene Liu and Jiajun Tang, the design directors of HDC Design, have completed one of their most recent carefully planned and designed works, the “BEN MOO Brand Exhibition Hall,” which is situated on the fifth floor of Fusen-Noble House in Nanmen.

Over the course of a base site that is just over 200 square meters, the space tells a story horizontally. It combines contemporary, classical, and eastern sensibilities with superb architecture to create a space that is cozy, expansive, and brimming with humanistic character.

In order to give the entrance passage a feeling of floating, the designer used natural stone for the steps, milky white artificial stone, a white hollow brand wall, and stone with patterns.

The entire area has the appearance of a baby being nurtured in a mother’s womb from a distance. Plants softly define the space’s edge after being adorned with natural stones, expressing a calm, quiet, and welcoming atmosphere.

Grids that resemble cloakrooms are placed to stand along the wall as soon as you enter the room. The structured wooden panels use a variety of shapes, including tenons, supports, and columns, to give the room a complete and rich texture that exudes a sense of home even when there is silence. It demonstrates both the brand’s quality and “BEN MOO’s” aptitude for space layout.

The designers took the psychological aspects of mass communication as a starting point, kept an eye on the word “communication,” and created a logical connection between the three cognitive, communicative, and problem-solving domains.

The cabinet display at the entry is where you first come into touch with “BEN MOO,” giving you a preliminary understanding of the tone and craftsmanship of “BEN MOO” products. Designers and owners who utilize “BEN MOO” goods can acquire a conceptual assessment on whether they meet the ideal woodwork in their thoughts through a suitable personal thought process, establishing the groundwork for subsequent decision-making. Here, customers can “have a conversation” directly with the products via “touch” and “vision.” Customers can start having in-depth conversations with “BEN MOO” staff if they are satisfied with the “vision” and “touch” of the product. Business contacts formally commence at this point.

The biggest effort was put forward by designers in the area of human communication. The spatial rhythm would be difficult to understand if people weren’t paying close attention. The designers employ the transparent cabinet structure as the bridge of the space at the end of the product display area after thorough thought, space matching, and complete dialogue with the brand. By becoming flexible and able to be interspersed, the partitions are molded with light of various intensities, allowing for more natural communication.

The BEN MOO Brand Exhibition Hall is like a melody that perpetually floats in the key of “minor.” It is extremely rich despite lacking widespread contradiction. Here, without any conflict, the movements of fashion, beautiful refinement, modern precision, and classical meaning are united, leaving room for aftertaste. Everything is fluid, like a brook happily swimming forward.
