Radici and Zambaiti Parati come together during Milan Design Week 2025 with Camera Picta, an installation designed by Serena Confalonieri. The space turns decorative surfaces into protagonists. Inspired by Renaissance interiors, the installation draws from the rich visual traditions of Giotto, Bramante, and Palladio, translating their use of pattern and symmetry into a contemporary setting filled with mirrors, architectural references, and ornamental texture.
Inside the installation, Radici’s textile flooring and Zambaiti Parati’s wallpaper collections come into contact with each other in unexpected ways. Shapes such as stripes, diamonds, circles, and lozenges, rooted in architectural language, fill the environment, softened by marbled textures that mimic hand-drawn gestures. A layered color palette of soft pastels and sharp hues builds contrast throughout the room.

Launch of the Chroma Textile Collection
Camera Picta marks the debut of Radici’s Chroma textile collection, designed by Serena Confalonieri. Known for its innovation in high-tech flooring, Radici continues its collaboration with leading designers by introducing eight new textile designs. The collection divides into four capsules, each taking cues from different historical and artistic styles, ranging from Neo-Impressionist dot techniques to Bauhaus ceramics and ancient marbling.
The four capsules, Camo & Bora, Casquè & Monsone, Nembi & Saette, and Madame & Pinco, each use visual references to shape distinct moods and compositions. Through them, Confalonieri explores how artistic movements and decorative languages can take on new lives through textile applications.

Design Techniques Behind Each Pattern
Camo and Bora draw directly from Pointillisme, the Neo-Impressionist technique of applying evenly sized dots to form visual compositions. Camo reinterprets camouflage with vibrant, layered hues, while Bora creates a sense of movement with dispersed dots floating across the textile like wind currents.
Casquè and Monsone recall the expressive lines of charcoal drawings used by artists such as Picasso and Matisse. Casquè uses flowing curves and layered tones to bring elegance and structure. Monsone evokes natural intensity with forceful, sweeping strokes that suggest rain and wind in motion.

Nembi and Saette revisit Spritzdekor, a Bauhaus-era stencil and spray paint method. Nembi introduces soft gradients that recall clouds, creating calm and light-filled surfaces. Saette offers sharp, angular marks, referencing lightning strikes to create a sense of sudden movement and energy.
Madame and Pinco turn to Oriental marbling traditions, reimagined through contemporary geometries. Madame layers structured lines with expressive strokes, balancing color across its grid. Pinco experiments with circular elements and fluid textures, delivering a dynamic composition ideal for both commercial and residential interiors.

Innovation with Bloom Back
Radici’s Chroma collection is produced using Bloom Back, an advanced textile flooring made from Econyl, a regenerated nylon sourced from discarded fishing nets, fabric waste, and plastics. What sets Bloom Back apart is its single-material structure, both the surface and backing are made from polyamide 6, allowing the flooring to be fully recyclable at the end of its use.
Available in 22 colorways or through custom patterns, Bloom Back offers Radici a flexible foundation to experiment with both color and environmental responsibility.

Expanding the Conversation with Zambaiti Parati
Alongside Camera Picta, Zambaiti Parati debuts two new Contract collections. Project – Chapter 2 includes collaborations with designers and visual artists such as Chiara Caberlon, Emanuele Svetti, Jacopo Ascari, Eleonora Sassoli, and Massimo Gardone. These partnerships bring a multidisciplinary approach to wallpaper design, each contributing a different angle, from architecture to photography.
The second launch, Boiserie 3D, offers a new wallcovering concept that introduces dimensionality. Crafted to resemble wood with intricate detailing, the collection plays with surface texture and spatial depth, creating a tactile experience that complements its visual elements.

Allergy-Reducing Innovation from Radici
Radici also presents AlleRad, a flooring treatment that reduces indoor allergens by up to 99.9%. Developed in-house, the treatment targets common allergens like pet dander, dust mites, and birch pollen, while maintaining the textile’s appearance and feel over time. The formula is fully biodegradable and part of the brand’s broader approach to environmental and indoor health.
With Camera Picta, Radici and Zambaiti Parati create an immersive experience where art, technique, and innovation meet.
