The apple motif, a recurring symbol in both Reisinger’s digital creations and Nahmias’s earlier collections, takes center stage in the Nahmias capsule collection. This fruit is prominently featured as a colossal sculpture at the entrance of the Maxfield store and within the dedicated gallery space for the Nahmias pop-up. Surrounded by a vibrant pink flower meadow, a concept close to Reisinger’s heart, the apple symbolizes culture, love, and the essence of humanity. “The giant apple sculpture at the store entrance creates a captivating atmosphere,” Nahmias explains. “It’s playful and refreshing, reflecting my belief in injecting fun and whimsy into fashion without taking ourselves too seriously.”

Established in 2018, the Nahmias brand has steadily gained momentum, now available in over 70 stockists worldwide, including prestigious retailers like The Webster, Selfridges, and Galeries Lafayette. This organic growth has emboldened Nahmias to explore new horizons, including the possibility of opening their first boutique.

The Maxfield pop-up serves as a testing ground for this venture, providing valuable insights into engaging with a diverse clientele and refining the boutique concept. Looking ahead, Nahmias contemplates the future of runway shows, weighing the pros and cons of showcasing in Paris versus exploring alternative platforms. “While I cherish the experience of showing in Paris, it’s also a substantial investment,” Nahmias reflects. “I believe in reimagining the traditional runway format to maximize impact and value. Whether it’s Paris, Los Angeles, or elsewhere, I aspire to embrace flexibility and choose formats that resonate authentically with the brand.”
