The Financial Street Project in Kunshan, near Suzhou, is work of FTA Architects. The project is a complex of 6 high-rise buildings for banks and a 4 storey club building.

The Financial Street Project in Kunshan, near Suzhou, is located in the Eastern New City of Kunshan.
The project is a complex of 6 high-rise buildings for banks and a 4 story club building. All buildings are located parallel to the main street, creating the image of a modern international city. All building offer well organized office areas and good views to the river and park nearby.
The whole design of this project focuses not only on the architecture. It integrates the landscape and the interior design as well as the green building design.
All elevations of the buildings are designed as curtain wall elevations with dark glasses and dark grey aluminum frames, that refer on one side to Mies van der Rohe’ Seagram Building in New York and on the other side create a unique expression by using only horizontal blinds.
The landscape design and the interior design are reduced to a few design elements and materials only. All buildings are planned according to the Chinese Two Star respectively Three Star Green Building Level.
