Valley House by Plan Bureau

Valley House by Plan Bureau

Architect Kostiantyn Kuvika of Plan Bureau designed an original two-story wooden house inspired from the natural asymmetry of the mountain landscapes of the Ukraine. The house imitates a mountain landscape, so it will easily fit into any environment that has hills or mountains. The diagonals in the structure give the building an additional sense of airiness and lightness. At the same time, the wood used in the construction creates a feeling of warmth and comfort, even from outside.

“We were aiming to create a distinctive and memorable architectural object, which would be economically efficient to construct, highly transportable and installable,” Kuvika told Dezeen.

“Its functional and aesthetic characteristics should allow it to be built in different environments such as valleys, woods and mountains.”
