From the Architects:

With the project Gue(ho)st house, Berdaguer & Péjus reinvent the circulations around the Contemporary Art Center – the Synagogue of Delme – and design new reception areas for the public and the artists. Behind the Art Center, they show a sculpture of the scale of an existing building which was successively a prison then a burial chamber. Now without function this place becomes the cornerstone of the project, a real scale one Psychoarchitecture. Artists play with the archeology of the building and its ghosts to create an architectural fantasy: fully covered, the original house expands and literally runs into their margins. Gue(ho)st house or “the art of not being afraid by ghosts.”
