Kreoo presents the redesigned Vis-à-Vis, a seating piece by Enzo Berti that balances sculptural solidity with visual lightness. Originally conceived as a Kreoo icon, the new edition expands on its reputation, offering a refined dialogue between material weight and suspended form. Its duality, part chaise longue, part marble block, creates a tension that reads as both furniture and art object.

FURNITURE

Vis-à-Vis embodies contrast. On one side, a suspended chaise longue stretches outward in a finely woven cord structure, its slim silhouette evoking the sensation of floating. Opposite it sits a solid marble block, a monolithic parallelepiped anchoring the design with mass and permanence. Together, these elements, ephemeral cord and enduring stone, express a harmony of opposites, producing a seat that is at once delicate and monumental.

The piece is distinguished by its interplay of materials, where interwoven cord emphasizes flexibility and transparency, while the marble conveys stability. Chromatic refinement unites the contrasting parts: both cord and marble can be finished in coordinated tones, with options ranging from greens and rosy accents to warm greys, ivory, and beige. This customization makes each Vis-à-Vis unique, adapting its sculptural presence to context.

Although visually arresting, the design is rooted in functionality. The suspended chaise longue offers comfort and relaxation, while the marble element provides balance and a visual anchor. This combination allows the seat to adapt across settings, whether in wellness and spa environments, hospitality interiors, poolside terraces, or as a defining centerpiece within residential living areas.

The new Vis-à-Vis represents the evolution of a Kreoo classic. By refining proportions, enhancing material combinations, and expanding finishes, Berti has maintained the essence of the original while advancing its adaptability. It continues to resonate as a signature piece that bridges contemporary design language with timeless sculptural values.

Vis-à-Vis is offered in two versions: a single seat measuring 163 x 80 x h78 cm and a double version at 184 x 145 x h78 cm. These variations provide flexibility for both private and public spaces, underscoring its role as a versatile yet iconic furnishing element.
