Zilio A&C and Alessandro Stabile have joined forces to introduce their collaborative venture at the prestigious Salone del Mobile Milano 2024, showcasing the “AX” stool and the “Mule” bench. The AX stool captures a multifunctional essence, symbolizing the instant when a wood log divides into two upon the woodsman’s axe, embodying simplicity and versatility. With a deliberate avoidance of complexity, Stabile crafted a stackable stool with graphic purity, transcending time and adapting seamlessly to various environments, from domestic to contract spaces. Made of ash plywood, the AX stool comes in five mixable shades, each enhancing its visual appeal and functionality.

In contrast, the Mule bench family embodies archetypal simplicity, where practicality meets elegance. Crafted from ash with milled solid wood sides, the Mule benches exude a sense of calm and solidity. Their versatile nature allows interpretation in multiple contexts, from temporary seating in showrooms to domestic support surfaces in living rooms or bedrooms. Available in two sizes and a refined palette of colors, the Mule benches blend into diverse settings, inviting moments of respite in the flow of everyday life.

Meanwhile, Alessandro Stabile’s studio brings innovation, ethics, and elegance to industrial design, creating products that express the full potential of people while respecting the environment.
