Zanotta SpA, the renowned Italian furniture company was acquired by Cassina SpA, to become part of the Haworth Lifestyle Design group. With the acquisition Cassina will from now on work on projects and activities nurturing the future growth of Zanotta.
As part of Haworth Lifestyle Design the Italian furniture brand joins a great company alongside Cappellini, Ceccotti, Karakter, Polrtona Frau, Luxury Living, JANUS Et Cie, Luminaire, Internio and Cassina.
Zanotta comes with a rich history in the design world, founded almost seven decades ago, it today stands as one of the leaders in the Italian design industry. To this day the house masterfully celebrates the heritage set by its founder Aurelio Zanotta. At the forefront of Zanotta was the innovation and technology research both in design and the use of innovative materials.
Today Zanotta is one of the leading players in the Italian furniture industry, with a recorded yearly turnover of around 25 million Euros. Zanotta is available in 50 countries, operating globally in over 700 stores. Today in its collection the company signs over 330 products, part of the history of furniture design, many are exhibited in over 50 museums in addition to the 4 Compasso d’Oro ADI received.

Zanotta furniture pieces have reshaped the furniture industry, and many are still a must have for design furniture lovers. From Maggiolina chaise-longue, the Sciangai coat stand, the Sacco armchair, the Tonietta chair, the Mezzadro stool, to the Leonardo table, as well as the Allunaggio outdoor seat and the Quaderna table, many of these designs are produced to this day and are part of contemporary design language.
