The always innovative Intouch Factory shares with us their proposal design, for the The Island, hotel complex. The project is located in Chioggia, a little city in the South of the Venice lagoon, in Italy. Their competition entry deals with ecological concerns based on a long term invasion of local natural species within this pre-existing man-made island. The building is a round-shaped hotel which is not touching the ground in order not to interfere with the nature, and in order to provide large and unique views of both landscape of the lagoon and the cityscape of the old town of Chioggia.
The project aims creates the condition of biodiversity.
