Belgrade’s iconic Bioskop Balkan, a symbol of the city’s rich cultural and architectural heritage dating back to the 19th century, recently hosted a remarkable event – the inaugural Novembar Party.
At the forefront of this celebration were the artistic creations of Woak Design. Their exquisite furniture pieces not only showcased the brand’s dedication to modern, sustainable living but also reflected a blend of diverse cultural influences, with designers from over 10 countries contributing to their unique aesthetic. This confluence of global styles significantly enhances Woak Design’s brand identity and vision.
Adding to the visual feast was the ‘La famiglia Pois’ wallpaper collection by Wall & Deco, courtesy of Fashion Designer Antonio Marras. This collection imbued the event with an artistic touch, enriching the ambiance with its unique designs.
The wine experience, curated by ADS Wine, was equally noteworthy. Celebrating its 21st year, ADS Wine is renowned for its expertise in importing and distributing premium wines from regions like Italy, France, Slovenia, Portugal, and Croatia to the Serbian market. The event featured a refined selection of wines from esteemed labels such as Fontanafredda, Movia, Dolce & Gabbana from Donnafugata, Caparzo, Monteverdi, Jean Durup, and Bertani.
A novel addition to the wine culture at the event was the introduction of WineDrop, a mobile application designed by sommeliers with 25 years of experience in wine education and tasting across the globe. WineDrop offers recommendations for wine packages and provides a seamless platform for purchasing and home delivery. The app also serves as a comprehensive guide to wine tours, national and international sommelier events, and a complete range of wine equipment.
Shiroco‘s innovative wine-holder bags for glasses also made an appearance, merging practicality with fashion.
As the event’s media partner, DSCENE Magazine’s role was pivotal in integrating art, design, and lifestyle. The magazine’s commitment to showcasing contemporary design and lifestyle trends aligned perfectly with the event’s ethos.
The atmosphere was further enhanced by live jazz music and a DJ set, adding to the night’s vibrancy. The event attracted a diverse audience of over 500 guests, including distinguished architects, designers, and fashion industry professionals, establishing the Novembar Party as a significant cultural event in Belgrade.
