Marking a decade of partnership, CB2 has introduced its third collaboration with Kravitz Design, the studio founded by musician and designer Lenny Kravitz. The 62-piece collection translates Kravitz’s architectural sensibility and global perspective into furniture and home objects that feel sculptural yet livable. The release reaffirms the long-running collaboration’s focus on merging culture, craft, and design into accessible collections for the contemporary home.
FURNITURE
Drawing from European modernism, the Case Study Houses of Southern California, and the laid-back spirit of Malibu, the collection strikes a balance between fluid silhouettes and grounded materials. Kravitz noted that he wanted this capsule to “distill everything we’ve learned in our years of collaboration with CB2 into a mix of elegant and enduring designs,” citing the International Style’s influence on California modernism as a key reference.

Texture and materiality define the new release. Woven leather seating, Danish cord stools, and Italian twill upholstery emphasize artisanal detail, while Breccia marble tables, finished to reveal the richness of the stone, anchor the offering with weight and permanence. The palette moves through coffee, ivory, sand, and charcoal, accented by black and stainless steel, giving the pieces a versatile presence designed to integrate into varied interiors.
Among the highlights, the Kanan Sofa, upholstered in a custom Italian twill, exemplifies the balance of performance and elegance, accompanied by the Kanan Chair in the same finish. The Rohe Marble Tables, offered in dining, coffee, and side variations, pair streamlined stainless-steel bases with richly finished marble tops in a nod to International Style precision. Kravitz Design also revisits its Rake Dining Chair, reinterpreting it as a lounge chair and ottoman layered with suede cushions over sculptural steel.

Lighting and textiles complete the capsule, with pieces like the Nagara lamps, constructed from bent steel and marble with rice paper shades that diffuse a soft glow. The hand-knotted Sirocco rugs add texture and warmth underfoot, their subtle patterns complementing the cleaner architectural lines of the furniture. As CB2 President Ryan Turf emphasized, the collection reflects a shared belief in the home as a sanctuary, with designs that balance artistry and function.
Now available in CB2 stores nationwide and online, the CB2 x Kravitz Design capsule underscores a decade-long collaboration that has consistently shaped furniture at the intersection of design and culture. With references to architecture, music, and material craft, the collection extends the shared ethos of the two partners, one where refinement meets accessibility, and interiors evolve through objects that resonate beyond function.
