Porro installation at Salone del Mobile 2025 redefines how architectural elements and furniture interact. Designed by Piero Lissoni and styled by Studio Greta Cevenini, the space unfolds beneath a pitched roof framed in light. Three main living zones: dining, living, and bedroom, anchor the concept, offering a format that echoes both domestic interiors and Porro’s expanding store network.
From the first step inside, spatial clarity guides the experience. The entrance opens into a dining-office hybrid. Here, the System HT bookshelf reshapes the familiar shelving design. Long moka lacquered shelves rest on slim metallic uprights and vertical eucalyptus dividers, forming an asymmetrical grid. Integrated ambient lighting deepens the composition, while a side-mounted glass cabinet introduces glossy verde cardo and transparent surfaces. Nearby, the Tablo table draws on the functional beauty of sheet metal benches. Its verde gris frame meets a verde cardo glass top in a setting that mixes industrial efficiency with calm rhythm.

Comfort, Contrast, and Clean Geometry
In the living area, Modern platforms, three in black stained ash, one in white ash, form a central island of calm. Nearby, the new Biscuit sofa keeps proportions lean and inviting, combining wood panels and wide cushions with elevated feet. The Boutique Mast shelving system enters a new phase with oval uprights and integrated lighting. The updated design introduces expanded spacing and a new selection of finishes, including iron-finished aluminum and black stained ash.

Porro presents the Offshore cupboard as a centerpiece. Its red-stained ash contrasts with maple interiors, sitting on a triangular base. This compact architectural form works for both minimal and layered interiors, available in either a four-door setup or a more segmented layout.
Tactile Precision in the Bedroom
In the bedroom zone, the Iro bed by GamFratesi creates visual weight with simplicity. A solid black ash frame and large black leather cushions define its silhouette. Next to it, the Offshore bedside table adds functionality through a central cut-out and full-extension drawer.

Porro enhances the Storage wardrobe with new mirrored doors and flush Block metal frames, creating a 180-degree opening. Inside the Storage Dressing Room, glass partitions meet soft, wood-toned finishes. Sliding Glide Miru doors give access to a full glass corner composition. White ash and perla-toned metal introduce a bright, composed atmosphere.
The centerpiece, Storage Isola, combines fango lacquer, white ash melamine, and back-painted glass to offer multiple storage possibilities. This centerpiece supports both private and contract environments with a refined configuration.

New Additions to Dining and Living Spaces
The Ventiquattro table introduces soft-edged transparency. Azuki-painted metal legs support a clear top, framed by Sixte dining chairs with leather cushions. The Gallery Low Cupboard from Buratti features Nero Marquina marble and a mirrored back, accessed by a eucalyptus door that slides down to reveal the interior.
Gap wall-mounted bookshelves by Carlo Tamborini double as lighting elements. Their lead-gray finish and embedded LEDs shape both function and mood.

In another living setup, Francesco Rota’s Tobu sofa anchors the space. The corner configuration uses leather-wrapped backs, deep seats, and floating modules to create a visual softness. Additional modules and square armchairs allow for custom arrangements. Dordoni Studio’s Twin sideboard adds weight with intersecting volumes in dark ash, accentuated by mirrors.
Nao Tamura’s Origata console in arancio siena supports meditative or work moments, while the iconic Balancing Boxes table adds asymmetry with stacked red-gum cubes.

Storage Systems and Legacy Designs Return
Facing the Tobu sofa setup, Piero Lissoni’s Modern system reappears with glossy blue interiors and rosewood finishes. The HT system incorporates open shelving, a display case, and bar cabinet in one setup. Shelves in eucalyptus and moka frame stand out against a sand-colored base.
Ex-Libris reintroduces black sugi melamine and glass doors to lightly mark transitions between rooms. The Materic Ovale table anchors the dining area with dark ash warmth, paired with GamFratesi’s Voyage chairs in aged leather and maple.

Modern’s new self-standing sideboards present layered colorwork in umber and matte azuki. Storage wardrobes and benches continue the theme. The Origata benches in azuki aluminum redefine the Storage Boiserie with simple cuts and efficient assembly.

Architectural Transitions and Social Impact
Porro uses Glide panels in multiple forms, fixed, sliding, and pivoting to introduce the Samurai model, featuring alternating surfaces that animate the space. Christophe Pillet’s new Cargo sofa plays with layered forms, while Werner Aisslinger’s revived Endless Shelf returns with a fresh finish in bruno walnut.
The Load-it system by Wolfgang Tolk introduces rovere sabbia finishes, pairing silvery oak texture with new tide wood modules and updated drawer formats.

Finally, Porro dedicates space to a partnership with Cooperativa Alice. Their handcrafted garments fill the wardrobe displays, connecting contemporary design to social purpose. Through this collaboration, Porro underscores its support for Italian craftsmanship and reintegration through skill-building.

this is gorgeous i love porro and what they are doing with Lissoni!
