London Mansion Apartment by NENMAR occupies the ground floor of a residential building overlooking Battersea Park in London, United Kingdom, following a full interior renovation focused on spatial flow, natural light and a calm domestic setting for contemporary living. The project uses a refined material palette, custom joinery, tailored lighting and soft furnishings designed specifically for the apartment and its inhabitants.

INTERIOR DESIGN

The renovation begins with the entrance, where NENMAR introduces a new architectural rhythm through a contemporary reading of wall moldings. Vertical and horizontal natural oak guides define the walls, frame door openings and connect with the built in joinery. These elements give the apartment a clear visual structure from the first moment inside. The oak guides continue through the residence, creating a consistent language that organizes movement and links the rooms through detail, proportion and material tone.

The main corridor carries this rhythm through the apartment before a brushed stainless steel wall changes the pace. The steel surface marks the end of the route and introduces a sharper material note into the restrained interior. NENMAR uses the wall as both a visual pause and a functional device. A concealed door within the steel opens into the guest powder room, where red travertine covers the entire space.

The living area follows a simpler and calmer direction. NENMAR places a monolithic bespoke fireplace at the center of the room, carving it from a single block of Titanium travertine. The fireplace anchors the space through weight, scale and material presence.

Titanium travertine continues from the living area into the dining and kitchen zone through a contemporary archway. This move connects the social spaces and gives the built in elements a continuous role throughout the home. The dining and kitchen area follows the same approach to custom design, with joinery, lighting and furnishings planned around the scale of the rooms and the daily habits of the residents.

The private quarters include three bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. NENMAR gives these rooms a grounded texture through clay plaster walls and cement flooring. Bespoke white travertine details add warmth, depth and tactile value while keeping the bedrooms connected to the rest of the apartment.

Across London Mansion Apartment, NENMAR uses simplicity, custom detailing and material precision to support everyday life. Natural oak guides movement, brushed stainless steel adds a sharper edge, red travertine creates an unexpected interior moment, and Titanium travertine gives the living area a strong center. Clay plaster, cement flooring and white travertine bring the private rooms into the same design language.
